Installation problems with the Operator Console

If you come across problems while installing or upgrading the Activa Live Chat Operator Console, please review the following troubleshooting points:

  • Before installing, first uninstall any previous versions of the Activa Live Chat Operator Console and any previous version of Adobe Air.
  • During the installation process, select "Save" when prompted and run the install from your desktop rather than selecting "Open" during the installation.
  • Before installing, make sure that you have administrator permissions on the install computer.

If for some reason you continue to experience installation errors, please follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the Activa Live Chat Operator Console
  2. Setup a log file for the installer by following these instructions
  3. Attempt to install the desktop version of the Operator Console again
  4. If installation fails again, open the log files, copy the information and submit it to us via our feedback form
