Ports used by the Operator Console

The Operator Console communicates with the Activa Live Chat service over Port 15002 by default. If that fails, the Operator Console will try again over HTTP Port 80 and HTTPS Port 443 in an attempt to workaround firewall settings that prevent TCP/IP connections over Port 15002.
If Port 15002 is not available/open on your network, it is highly recommended that you change your firewall settings to:
- Allow all traffic on Port 15002, or...
- Allow all traffic on Port 15002 to *.activalive.com
With Port 15002 open to the Operator Console, you will experience the best possible performance. If this port is not open, however, the Operator Console will function properly over Ports 80 and 443.
