Velocity Messaging is an exclusive feature of Activa Live Chat that helps live chat operators respond to visitors during a chat faster and more efficiently.
Velocity Messaging automatically presents a list of the most relevant Canned Messages that match what the operator has typed in the messaging field. The operator then simply selects the best message from the list to send to the visitor.
Velocity Messaging increases an operator's response time and removes the need to manually search through long lists of pre-formatted Canned Messages - making live chat seem more natural and fluid - like a normal conversation.
Note: Canned Messages must be setup in order for Velocity Messaging to work properly. The more Canned Messages that are available, the more choices the operator will have when responding to a visitors questions. Canned Messages are setup by administrators and assigned to various departments in the Account Dashboard > Canned Messages section. In addition, operators may add their own individual Canned Messages (that are only available to their account) from within the Operator Console).
