Salesforce requires that you add your users' IP Addresses for "trusted network access." This will enable them to login to their Salesforce accounts using the Activa Live Chat Salesforce Chatlet from within the Operator Console and allow administrators to login to Salesforce from the Account Dashboard when setting up field mapping with Pre-Chat Forms.
To enable Salesforce Network Access
- Go to Salesforce's Website and login.
- Click 'Setup' at the very top of the page.
- In the left side bar, under Administration Setup, click 'Security Controls' - this will open up to display more sub-section links. Now click 'Network Access'
- Add the IP or IP range for the users who will be accessing Salesforce using the Salesforce Chatlet.
