Tracking individual live chat buttons/links or invites with Google Analytics

Track the effectiveness of any individual live chat Button/Link and/or Automated Invite within Google Analytics quickly and easily.
Simply setup a goal in Google Analytics to track clicks/hits to the unique ID of each Button/Link or Automated Invite.
Note: Each Activa Live Chat Button/Link and Automated Invite has its own unique ID. These unique IDs are available in the Account Dashboard in the appropriate sections.
With the appropriate unique IDs in hand/available to you, sign in to your Google Analytics account, then follow these instructions:
- Click the "Edit" action for the appropriate Website Profile.
- In the Goals area, click "Add goal" link.
- In the Goal Name field, enter the name of the Button/Link or Automated Invite associated with this goal.
- For Goal Type select "URL Destination."
- In the Goal Details section that appears, select "Head Match" for the Match Type field.
- In the Goal URL field, enter "/ActivaLiveChat/Button_ID" where "ID" is the unique ID of the Button/Link or Automated Invite.
- Leave the Case Sensitive step un-checked.
- Save the goal.
