Deployment code is in place but live chat is not working

If you have followed the setup instructions and have inserted the Deployment Code, but live chat is still not working, check that the Deployment Code was not altered in any way before pasting it into your Website's code.
Altered Deployment Code will cause Active Live Chat to break. So please ensure a straight copy and paste from the Account Dashboard to your Website's code.

WYSIWYG Editors or Content Management Systems (CMS)
If you are using a WYSIWYG editor or a CMS to manage the content of your Website, it may have altered the Deployment Code as it was pasted into your Website.
If this occurs, the Deployment Code, and therefore Activa Live Chat, will not work properly if at all. It's very important to ensure that the Deployment Code is not altered in any way
The most common problem with WYSIWYG editors or CMS systems are that they strip-out important special characters in the Deployment Code. This is often hard to recognize with the naked eye, however, the most common element they remove is the "+" sign that is in many areas within the Deployment Code. Another common problem with WYSIWYG editors or CMS systems is that they will put a line break and potentially ad a space within the Deployment Code scripts - this of course will break the code.
