The most common mistake among new customers is skipping the first and most important step of setting up and deploying Activa Live Chat:

  1. Setup a Deployment

Setting up a Deployment is required for integrating Activa Live Chat. Without the Deployment Code properly in place, Activa Live Chat will not function properly.

To setup a Deployment, follow these simple steps:

  1. Sign in to the Account Dashboard (you must be an administrator)
  2. Then go to the Deployments section
  3. Click the "+ Add New Deployment" button
  4. Follow the setup steps and then save the new deployment
  5. When done, you will be give a small block of code that you must copy and paste into your Website. This code must be placed after all your HTML but just above your Website's closing </body> tag

It's highly recommended to review the Quick Start Guide that is available from the Account Dashboard and was also e-mailed to the Account Owner at signup.
