XML Transcript Delivery, which automatically POSTs live chat transcripts to a specified URL as an XML document, can be setup quickly and easily following these steps:
- Setup a URL to process the incoming POSTs of XML documents from Activa Live Chat
- Sign in to the Activa Live Chat Account Dashboard and go to the Deployments section
- Create a new or edit an existing deployment
- In the section titled "Advanced Option: XML Transcript Delivery," select the checkbox to enable this feature
- Next, enter the URL to where you would like Activa Live Chat to POST the XML files
- Save the deployment
Note: The XML data will be sent as an unencoded raw Post with the content-type set to text/xml.
