XML Transcript Delivery, which automatically POSTs live chat transcripts to a specified URL as an XML document, can be setup quickly and easily following these steps:

  1. Setup a URL to process the incoming POSTs of XML documents from Activa Live Chat
  2. Sign in to the Activa Live Chat Account Dashboard and go to the Deployments section
  3. Create a new or edit an existing deployment
  4. In the section titled "Advanced Option: XML Transcript Delivery," select the checkbox to enable this feature
  5. Next, enter the URL to where you would like Activa Live Chat to POST the XML files
  6. Save the deployment

Note: The XML data will be sent as an unencoded raw Post with the content-type set to text/xml.
