Activa Live Chat offers the ability to use unencrypted live chat deployments or encrypted 256-bit SSL secured live chat deployments.

Activa Live Chat's security is High-Grade Encryption (AES-256 256-bit), making it very difficult for unauthorized people to view chats traveling between your operators and visitors.

To enable the SSL security option, follow the instructions provided here:

Sign in to your Account Dashboard

Go to "Deployments"

Click the "Add New Deployment" button

When you get to step "3. Chat Window", select the appropriate "256-bit SSL Secure" option

Then just complete the deployment as usual, selecting whatever options you like.

Once deployed on your Website, all chats carried out in this deployment will be 256-bit SSL secured.
