Activa Live Chat buttons can be assigned to a specific department, so that you can create multiple buttons and allow the visitor to choose the department that best fits their needs.
In order to respond to a request from a specific department, an operator must be online and assigned to that department.
First you must create a department under "Departments & Operators." Monitoring does not have to be turned on to receive chat requests.
After creating the department, you must add a new operator to this department, or assign an existing operator to this department. Operators can be in multiple departments, which can be managed in the operator edit page.
