Enable Salesforce.com API access

Before an operator can log in to their Salesforce.com account using the Salesforce Chatlet, their account must have API access enabled in their Salesforce.com user profile.

  1. Go to the Salesforce.com and login
  2. Click "Setup" at the top of the page
  3. Under "Administration Setup" expand "Manage Users" then click "Profiles"
  4. Click "Edit" for the appropriate Profile

Under "Administrative Permissions," check "API Enabled" (this allows a user to sign in to Salesforce.com using the Salesforce Chatlet).
