Activa Live Chat understands that most Operators are only available during normal business hours, while visitors will continue to come to your site at any time. For this reason, Activa Live Chat not only provides real-time chatting, but also offline communication support.
When there are no Operators available, visitors will not be able to request a chat. However, instead of just displaying an offline button, you can allow the visitor to use a contact form so they may be contacted at a later time.
Under "Additional Actions" when creating or editing a Button/Link, select "Enable 'Leave a Message' form". When you select this option, a new set of options appear below. These allow you to customize the content and fields in the form. Any field you select will be required when filling out the form. When the visitor submits the form, an e-mail containing their information will be sent to the department you specify.
