Why am I not receiving the Automated Invite I added?

Automated Invites are not tied directly to your deployment. You must copy the code provided onto the pages you wish the automated invite to appear on.

There are two timing options you must set when you create an automated invite. One is how long before the invite appears, and the other is how long after it appears before the invite is retracted.

You can choose for the automated invite to appear instantly or after a specified amount of time. The time is accumulated while on pages containing the automated invite code. For example, if it is set to appear after 30 seconds, and the visitor remains on one page for 20 seconds before going to a new page, the automated invite will appear after 10 seconds. This time is reset everytime they view a page with a different automated invite, or no automated invite.

An automated invite can be set to be retracted after a specified amount of time, when the visitor views a new page, or only when they decline it manually. The amount of time is accumulated the same way the delay before appearing works. If it is set to retract on page exit, it will no longer appear even if the following page has the same automated invite.

Once the automated invite has been retracted for any reason, it will not appear again during their browsing session as long as they remain on continuous pages containing the same automated invite. If they view a page containing a different or no automated invite, this will be reset, and the automated invite may again appear when they reach the timer.
