New leads and customers can be generated from Activa Live Chat and entered directly into Salesforce. Operators also have the option of saving live chat transcripts as cases or even calls within any object.
By implementing the pre-chat form option in Activa Live Chat, visitors who submit a form (or survey) before their chat session begins will be looked up automatically by the Salesforce Chatlet. Multiple matching results are presented in a list from which the operator can choose. Also, new objects can be easily created on-the-fly just as you would using the Salesforce.com interface.

Unlike other solutions that merely frame Salesforce.com within a browser window, the Activa Live Chat Salesforce Chatlet becomes a seamless part of the Operator Console making interacting with Salesforce simple and intuitive.
The Activa Live Chat Salesforce Chatlet can be resized depending on any individual operator's preferences. In its default state, the Salesforce Chatlet resides at the bottom middle part of the Operator Console with all the other Chatlets. It can be resized vertically by dragging the resize grip up or down. To maximize the Chatlet, simply click the resize button to take advantage of more screen real estate.

After purchasing your license(s) to the Salesforce Chatlet, you can assign the Chatlet to any operators who need access. Once these operators sign in to the Operator Console, they will have access to the Salesforce Chatlet and can log in immediately using their Salesforce user name and password.
